My name is Mr. Jacoby and this will be my 14th year as advisor of the best Key Club in New York, the Bayside High School Key Club. Over the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity to participate in hundreds of community service events all over the city with the most amazing Key Club members!
Every year we attend charity walks including the Light the Night Walk to help raise money in the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. We also attend the Juvenile Diabetes Walk, the Breast Cancer Walk, and the AIDS Walk every year. Every October we raise money for UNICEF (in 2008 the Bayside High School Key raised $4006.83 which was the most in the entire country!) In April we collect money to donate to the March of Dimes. Once a month, 10 members visit the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island to cook meals for families with seriously ill children in the hospital. Another really fun event we participate in every year is New York Cares Day. At this event Key Club members help beautify our parks and schools by painting and planting flowers and plants. If you have been a Key Club member in the past, I hope you join again this year and continue to dedicate yourself to your home, school and community. If you have never been a member of Key Club before, I hope you decide to join this year so you can be part of the largest student run community service organization in the world. If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask me, my office is located in the S.O office in room 131. I look forward to meeting all of you during a future meeting or event. |
Hi everyone! My name is Michelle Shi and I am your 2021 to 2022 President. I joined Builders Club in middle school (another club in the Kiwanis Family), and I always enjoyed volunteering because it gives me a sense of pride that I'm able to serve my community. Inevitably, I joined Key Club in high school. My time in Key Club has been amazing so far. From being a member to your bulletin editor, and now as your President, I love feeling accomplished as I go home from an event, feeling happy after having a good conversation with someone new I met, feeling excited about the next event, and feeling admiration towards my peers who are able to guide others and influence them to be a compassionate individual. As your President, I hope I will inspire you to become just as passionate for Key Club as I am. I will be as creative as possible and create memories you will never forget. I will dedicate my time to making Key Club as welcoming, fun, and impactful as it can be. If you have any questions, or just want someone to talk to, feel free to contact me at any time! Caring, our way of life.

Hey Key-ooties! My name is Ziyi Feng and I’ll be your 2021-2022 Vice President! As the immediate past co-secretary, I’ve learned the responsibilities of becoming a board officer. It was not easy, but I can tell you that I enjoyed every moment of it. From staying up till 2AM in order think of events, I definitely poured a lot of my sweat and tears (not blood!) on this journey. However, there’s more to come. As your vice-president for this service year, I want to bring the club to new heights. Membership recruitment is definitely one of my top priorities. I can’t wait for more fundraisers and working with the committees. Most importantly, I can’t wait to see new faces once we’re allowed to partake in-person events. It is my pleasure to work with you all for the next year. As always, stay safe.

Hello Key Clubbers! I am delighted to be your next co-secretary along with Jayce for this service year! Being in Key Club this year has brought me nothing but joy and great memories that I'd cherish forever. From the great friends I made in Key Club coming to high school as a lonely freshman, I deeply thank you all for making such a nice and welcoming environment for everyone to be accepted! I am willing to dedicate my time to my work along with your other board members this term to ensure that the experience you have here will be one that’s noted down in the chapters.

Hello Everyone, my name is Roy Lu and I am your 2021-2022 treasurer. I can’t wait for this pandemic to be finally over and to be able to see some faces again. I hope someday that everyone in Key Club can enjoy the in-person events and the friends that brought me into Key Club 3 years ago. I’ll never forget waking up early just to go home tired and happy for the experiences I gained. I am thankful for this opportunity that you guys have provided me and I will do my best to see that everything is taken care of and always willing to lend a hand. Like before, I will always carry my way of life. I hope you all will have a wonderful year and a return to a life that I and many other Key Clubbers cherished.

Hey Key Clubbers! I'm Priyanshi Panchal, your Webmistress for 2021-2022. Even though I've only been in Key Club for this school year, it has had a lasting affect on my outlook towards my school life. With the lack of activities this school year, Key Club was a place that made me feel excited and energized, despite the long weeks prior to Friday afternoon meetings. Being able to interact with others who share the same need to help others encouraged me to do more. I wish to be able to continue to help make our virtual interactions for this service year interesting and interactive. I look forward to working with all of you!
